And it's in reverse-order--the first "me" is the one at the far right.
I originally wanted to experiment with one of my ideas on my "list of stuff to draw" and this is what happened instead.
I drew mahself; the pose was random and meant to look like me leaning against a wall with my hands behind my back and my head resting on the supposed wall (which, as you can see, is non-existent...). I guess I sorta pulled it off, I'm half-pleased with it. No reference. I had fun with it and rocked with coloring the shirt and pants. I killed it, however, when I butchered my face and hair. I killed it so bad that I felt like I should draw it two more times.
Yep, no Photoshopping (not even the bg; I'll get to that later), I actually drew the same thing twice over.
The 2nd time I didn't try as hard. I liked the simplicity, until I started detailing it up. It's a habit! I couldn't help it! D: Even though I made it look presentable, I wasn't pleased so I figured 3rd time's a charm.
The last one was accidental: I took the fat end of my Prismas to color the shirt and pants and left it. Sloppy-like, not too detailed, leaving white along the edges.
I like that one the best.
What do you think? Perhaps if I get enough feedback I'll start shaping an actual "style" of my own.
XD
Ooops, one shirt is a different color.
And now for the stuff that'll blow your mind: 1) I did this all within 4 hours at work. 2) I physically CUT each "me" out (I don't know why, but that was strangely fun). 3) I used CONSTRUCTION PAPER for the bg. And I used a craft scissors and a star hole punch.
Yeah.
I get a prize for being lame... and lazy.
Me (c) me. #17 = teh O. Sketched with Bic mechanical pencil, inked with .05 skinneh Micron, colored with Prismacolor markers and a white gel pen.

holy shiz, dude. This is amazing!!! The background totally reminds me of the colors you had in your room at your parents house with the stars on the boarder!
You have no idea how awesome this looks. I really, REALLY love the pose. And the shirt....and the pants...and everything. Actually, I really like the one on the far left...it looks opaque and awesome. Did I mention this looks awesome and amazing??? I wish I had more words to describe...but it's more or less just coming out as a wide-eyed squee.
Th... thanks! My fave is also the one on the far left (the last one I actually colored). It took like 2 seconds. It DOES remind me of my old room!!! Yet I didn't realize until you said that, though...
A "wide-eyed squee?!" You MUST demonstrate this for me in person sometime.
sounds like an animal...like Steve Irwin, may he rest in peace, would come up to it and be like: *loud whisper* "And roight ova heaa we have a woide oiedy squee...pay close attention to the circumference of the oi"
WOAH! this looks great o.o, I totally love the shadows on the last one. the pose is interesting. the picture itself give me a sense of freedom or peace somehow haha.. hard to describe it. anyways. very nice job!
K... Ill keep it short because I need sleep... that said... It is......... Amazing! This is up there with some of the coolest I have seen in a long while (and mind you I just got back from D.C. (the land of art or something like that (or was it the land of law?))) It is like Monica falling into comic form. This is really really cool. (I am trying so hard to be concise with my point here and finding it hard not to ramble on about the picture) totally SWANK!
That is all I can think straight. If you want the long winded crazy ramble ask me some time.
Very SWANK!

I'm liking the construction paper bg, just because it's simplistic and draws attention to the actual drawings. Beyond that, the stars add some depth, and it just works. The far left drawing is cool for it's simplicity. I like the shading and highlights on the middle version, and I do like how you shaded the one on the right. The skin is a bit off, but the arms look awesome, and it has a goodtransition between colors anyway.
So, I'm gonna say that this rocks. Period.

Thank you very very VERY much! I, too, like the simplicity of the first one. I'm extremely happy with the shading of the far right one but yes, the skin is what I hate. I went over it one too many times with different colors and should've stopped while it still looked semi-decent. Thanks a ton!!!
